How I Changed my Way of Eating
Hi! My name is Annika, and I did a project of pastas and from every country I would make a pasta (which is their traditional pasta) and the ones that were my favorites would move on to the final round so to speak. This project changed my way of eating, (I know I am just as shocked as you are) How? You might be wondering; I will answer that question in this blog!
So, to know how I changed my way of eating we need to go back in time. Let’s go 1 year away from now. A year away from now pasta WAS my life, I could eat it every day all day and since I always wanted to eat healthier for my health but I always failed I would always end up with a pizza slice in my hand or a French fry in my mouth, so I would always get discouraged because I always expected results by the end of the week so that is why I got discouraged. Nevertheless about 2 months ago I told myself “I am going to eat healthy, drink lots of water and it doesn’t matter if it will take a year because I will do it for me, for my health and for no one else!” and my journey started. So then sadly I choose to do a project about pasta (pasta has lots of carbs so that is UNhealthy) so that didn’t help much, but with that I was still going, and just making all the pastas made me think “wow there are so many types of pastas” so before I used to think that eating healthy would mean just eating salads so then I thought “since there is variety in pastas there might be variety in healthy eating”, so that was when I started to expand my Circle of healthy recipes so I started watching this YouTube channel called Pick Up Limes and she shows healthy & super delicious recipes so that helped me with the food. Regarding exercise I watched Jeanine Amapola who she is motivating you to be the healthiest you can be so both really helped me to make better decisions regarding my lifestyle.
So now that we have talked about the past and all that let’s talk about the PRESENT now I try to eat healthy (with the help of Pick Up Limes), drink more water and do at least 15 min of exercise and that has helped me because I feel more motivated to continue eating healthy and I have some treats once in a while and it’s ok because I deserve it because I have being eating healthy.
